About Noodlybark Puppets

Noodlybark Puppets is a Beechworth-based puppet theatre (Victoria, Australia) specialising in fun and interactive shows for preschoolers and junior primary school students.  

Founder Leanne Murphy has toured hundreds of preschools, childcare centres, primary schools, festivals and community centres around Victoria and New South Wales as director of the Purpletown Puppets (1999-2007), and is a fully qualified and experienced classroom music teacher. 

Leanne enjoys writing songs and poetry, playing piano, ukulele, tin whistle, ocarina and hand percussion, and also loves to spend time gardening with her husband Frank, reading, cooking, crocheting, painting and keeping active through walking and yoga.
