Heading North

This week the Noodlies traveled to Cobram and Tocumwal, and were amazed at the river scenery!  Heading into Tocumwal, the flooding extended for a few kilometres before we actually reached the Murray... here's a pic from the levee bank...

The locals were very stoic about it all though, keeping up-beat and positive - apparently good weather for ducks!

Fortunately everyone was keeping happy and dry in Cobram, we had a lovely time at Eileen Taylor Kindergarten, and saw some amazing abstract art...

Plus a glorious veggie patch for small hands...

And look at this wonderful Murray River art at Tocumwal Preschool...

Of course, the Noodlies loved the Big Cod (apparently the second 'big thing' in Australia after the Big Scotsman)...
