The Added Benefits of Touring

The Noodlies have toured to Melbourne a few times over the last month, and in-between shows, there are so many great sights to see...

Leanne's favourite rest stops always include excellent (and strong!) coffee, with a good view out, or a good book to read - the photo above was taken at the charming Kallista Tea Rooms, where feathered friends can also visit for a seedy snack on a bar perch just outside the window.  It was definitely a case of "who's watching who?".

Being on the road involves a lot of sitting and driving, so Leanne looks forward to getting out of the car and walking as often as possible.  Fortunately Melbourne is blessed with an abundance of parks and walking tracks with well-established flora for local birds... this gum tree near Morobe Street Children's Centre in West Heidelberg was very noisy!

Morobe Street Children's Centre has a beautiful outdoor play area with big shady trees and plenty of space for running free - things to gladden a touring puppeteer's heart!
