North-Central Victoria tour

It's such a joy to visit country preschools and childcare centres, Victoria really is a beautiful state filled with interesting towns, generous and warm-hearted people and joyous children!

This time around the Noodlies enjoyed a walk around historic Rushworth, with it's well-preserved buildings, beautifully kept gardens and splendid mature gum trees, before visiting the local kindergarten...

Shepparton and Mooroopna are also well-known nowing for their Moooving Art cows dotted here and there...

...which always bring a smile.  So too does the childrens' artwork at each centre, here's some stained glass window shapes at Dolena Young Preschool...

The preschool has also recently funded the building of a Bali hut in their playground, and the children just love it!

It was delightful to hear educator Di at the Bourchier Street Goodstart in Shepparton chatting away happily to their kindergarten mascot Zig the Pig...

And we ended this tour in the small but close-knit farming community of Lockington, with a lively and attentive bunch of 3-4 year olds...

Thanks to all the teachers and educators on this tour - we had a great time!
